About the Role
This Service Advisor Traineeship is an entry‑level opportunity to begin a career in the automotive industry while completing a Certificate III in Automotive Administration over a 2-year period. You’ll learn how to deliver exceptional customer service, support workshop operations, and manage service administration, all while gaining a nationally recognised qualification through structured on‑the‑job training.
Duties
- Greet customers, identify service needs, and prepare repair orders
- Coordinate with the Workshop to track jobs and update customers
- Handle calls, bookings and loan vehicle arrangements
- Explain completed work and assist with payments at handover
- Maintain accurate records and a clean, professional service area
Skills and Experience
- Driver’s licence
- Friendly, confident communicator with a strong customer focus
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems
- Interest in the automotive industry and learning how vehicles work
- Reliable, resilient and professional with a positive attitude
- Keen to learn, take on challenges and build a career through a traineeship
