Skillset, in partnership with a reputable local electrical company, is seeking applications for a full-time Electrical Apprenticeship based in Dubbo, NSW.
This is a fantastic entry‑level opportunity to start your career in the Industrial Electrical Industry while completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician over four years.
This qualification is listed on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List, and the successful candidate may be eligible for up to $5,000 through the Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment during the first two years.
Duties
- Assist qualified electricians across industrial and mining worksites
- Support electrical installations, maintenance, and upgrades
- Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults and hazards
- Assist with power line work
- Safely operate a range of hand and power tools
Skills and Experience
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in the industrial electrical industry
- Can work safely and follow Work Health and Safety procedures
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability, adaptability and strong attention to detail
- Hold a minimum Provision P1 Drivers Licence
- Hold a White Card or are willing to obtain one
