We’re seeking a motivated Apprentice Security Systems Integrator to join a supportive team installing and maintaining modern electronic security systems. This hands-on apprenticeship is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with technology, and learning on the job.
You’ll complete a Certificate III in Security Equipment over a 4-year placement while working alongside experienced technicians across a range of commercial, industrial and residential sites.
Duties
- Install, test and maintain security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, access control and intercoms
- Run and terminate cabling in line with industry standards
- Assist with system troubleshooting and fault‑finding
- Interpret basic technical drawings and job specifications
- Provide excellent customer service on site
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy work area
Skills and Experience
No experience needed, just a great attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in technology, electronics or IT
- Enjoys using tools and learning hands‑on skills
- Communicates well and works great in a team
- Is reliable, punctual and keen to build a trade career
- Can perform physical tasks and work safely in confined spaces and at heights
- Holds (or is willing to get) a White Card, security licence and WWCC
