About the Role

Kickstart your career in the growing security technology industry!
We’re seeking a motivated Apprentice Security Systems Integrator to join a supportive team installing and maintaining modern electronic security systems. This hands-on apprenticeship is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with technology, and learning on the job.

You’ll complete a Certificate III in Security Equipment over a 4-year placement while working alongside experienced technicians across a range of commercial, industrial and residential sites.

Duties

  • Install, test and maintain security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, access control and intercoms
  • Run and terminate cabling in line with industry standards
  • Assist with system troubleshooting and faultfinding
  • Interpret basic technical drawings and job specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service on site
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy work area

Skills and Experience

No experience needed, just a great attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an interest in technology, electronics or IT
  • Enjoys using tools and learning hands‑on skills
  • Communicates well and works great in a team
  • Is reliable, punctual and keen to build a trade career
  • Can perform physical tasks and work safely in confined spaces and at heights
  • Holds (or is willing to get) a White Card, security licence and WWCC
