About the role

Skillset is seeking immediate applications for reliable and hard working temporary Water Tank Operators to join their clients team in Lithgow, NSW.

This practical role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery and contributing to the upkeep of roads and public spaces. You will be part of a team that values safety, reliability and community service.

Duties

  • Operate and maintain water truck and pump systems
  • Clean roads, gutters, sewer chokes and sumps
  • Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks (tyres, oil, coolant, hoses)
  • Water roads under construction and loading tracks
  • Adhere to all Work Health and Safety requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Current MR Licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Experience using watering apparatus (desirable)
  • Maintenance/construction experience (desirable)
  • Traffic Control Ticket - Stop/Slow (desirable)
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
