About the Role

Skillset alongside a well-established and respected bricklaying company are seeking applications for their new Bricklaying Apprentice in Dubbo, NSW. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience whilst learning from industry experts and take on a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying over a 4-year period.

Bricklayers are in high demand due to the growth in the construction industry, once qualified you will be able to build new domestic and commercial buildings.

Duties

  • Handle and prepare bricklaying and blocklaying materials
  • Measure, construct and assemble products
  • Interpret technical drawings
  • Learn cutting techniques
  • Use hand and power tools

Skills and Experience

  • Are interested in the building industry
  • Have skills such as problem solving, adaptability and attention to detail
  • Are physically fit and able to complete manual handeling tasks
  • Hold a White card (or willing to obtain)
  • Hold a Drivers Licence
