About the Role
Skillset is seeking applications for their new Fitter Apprentice in Bathurst, NSW. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience whilst learning from industry experts and undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, over a 4 year period.
Duties
- Work alongside qualified tradespeople
- Help troubleshoot and repair equipment faults
- Conduct routine safety checks and preventative maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and training requirements
Skills and Experience
- Passion for the engineering trade
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and able to follow instructions
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)
