About the Role
The successful candidate will join their team as the new Education Support Trainee and will undertake a Certificate III in School Based Education Support, over a 12-month period. In this role, you will support daily operations by assist student and teachers, help in the development and growth of the students.
Duties
- Assisting the classroom teacher in the teaching and learning environment
- Supporting children in their learning
- Assisting with the organisation and preparation of teaching and learning resources
- Supporting the pastoral care of students in collaboration with classroom teachers
- Modelling positive behaviour and providing a supportive presence in the classroom
Skills and Experience
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Suite and AI
- Willingness to learn
- Understanding of confidentiality and discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
