About the Role

Boilermaking Apprentice in Orange, NSW. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience whilst learning from industry experts and gain a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication, over a 4-year period.

This qualification is recognised on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List. The successful candidate may be eligible for the Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment of up to $5000 over the first 2 years of the apprenticeship.

Duties

• Assist qualified trades people. 
• Fabricate structural steel, platework, piping, and interpret technical drawings
• Use hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean workshop environment

• Are interested in the Engineering industry
• Have skills such as problem solving, communication, adaptability and attention to detail
• Can show an understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Procedures
• Are physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
