About the Role

Skillset, in partnership with a respected local government body, is seeking Temporary Labourers to join their team to support multiple projects in Lithgow and surrounds.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, operating equipment and contributing to civil construction and maintenance projects. You will be part of a team that values safety, reliability and community service.

Duties

  • Lay and repair pipes
  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment
  • Construct concrete structures (e.g. footpaths, driveways, retaining walls)
  • Perform roadworks and site preparation
  • Control traffic in accordance with Traffic Control Plans
  • Respond to customer enquiries courteously and efficiently
  • Complete timesheets and leave applications accurately
  • Adhere to all Work Health and Safety requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • White Card
  • Class C Drivers’ Licence
  • Previous experience with concrete set out and/or labouring experience
  • Traffic Control Ticket
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Trades Assistant experience (desirable)
  • Previous plant operation experience (desirable)
