About the role

Process Workers and Canteen Assistants

Skillset alongside a local Bathurst food manufacturer, is seeking immediate applications for temporary process workers and temporary canteen assistants. Our client offers a supportive and inclusive work environment and are passionate about skills development in the region.

Successful candidates will contribute to various factory departments and play an integral role in ensuring consistent and efficient factory operations.

Duties

  • Packaging food products on process line
  • Following production guidelines and specifications
  • Preparing machinery and equipment for use
  • Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
  • Work on production line with speed and accuracy
  • Ensure all food safety standards and health regulations are followed
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages to staff

Skills and experience

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a factory or hospitality environment is highly regarded
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
  • Hold a relevant food safety certification (desirable for canteen assistant position)
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical prior to commencement including drug and alcohol screening
