About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Business Trainee to join our team and kickstart a rewarding career in the public sector. Over 12 months, you’ll complete a Certificate III in Business while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic office environment. You’ll support day-to-day operations, develop essential administrative skills and contribute to meaningful work that helps deliver vocational education across NSW. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn and build a strong foundation for your future.
Duties
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service to a wide range of stakeholders
- Assisting with phone enquiries, data entry, electronic filing, and managing shared inboxes
- Supporting the team with general admin tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in everything you do
- Completing all coursework and training requirements as part of your Certificate III in Business
Skills and Experience
- Genuine interest in building a career with the Department of Education
- Clear and confident communicator with a collaborative team mindset
- Eagerness to learn and continuously develop skills and knowledge
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Check
