Where the jobs are.
Covid-19 has made a huge impact on the jobs market across Australia. Some industries have been more affected than others and in some sectors, employment opportunities have decreased whilst others have increased.
In late 2020, the National Skills Commission compiled a list of resilient occupations – or occupations which are likely to experience the most growth in Australia in the coming years. The six industries which have strong employment resilience are:
- Health Care and Social Assistance
- Education and Training
- Construction
- Mining
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing
- Administrative and Support Services.
