Skillset Skills4Trade

Skills4Trade is a fully subsidised* pre-employment program for people who live or work in NSW, are 15 years or older, not in school, and are Australian or New Zealand citizens and are interested in a pathway to employment to an apprenticeship or traineeship. All of our current courses are listed below and you can register via our online form.

Skills4Trade is delivered in partnership with TAFE NSW and proudly funded by Training Services NSW.

What do I gain from a Skills4Trade Course?

Work ready training
Work ready <strong>training</strong>

Learn about different industries, trade careers, and apprenticeship opportunities. Complete career planning, and learn what trade is the best fit for you. You will also receive workplace health and safety training to make you work ready.

Get set…
Get <strong>set…</strong>

Attend TAFE and learn specific knowledge and skills across a range of industries for example construction, plumbing, engineering, automotive, electrical and mining. Different training will be offered at different locations and depending on numbers.

Gain practical hand on industry and workplace experiences through supported work placements. Our courses help provide you with the foundations for future employment, apprenticeships and traineeships.
