1. Write Down the Questions and Your Answers
Do this straight after the interview while everything is fresh in your mind.
- List the questions you were asked and the answers you gave.
- Review each response and ask yourself: How would I rate this answer? What could I improve?
- Rewrite your answers with improvements so you’re ready for similar questions in the future.
2. Build a Bank of Responses
Create a document or notebook where you keep all your interview questions and improved answers.
- Add new questions after every interview.
- Over time, you’ll have a comprehensive list of responses that cover almost any question an interviewer might ask.
3. Practice Your Responses
Before your next interview, review your bank of responses and practise them out loud.
- Rehearse with a friend or family member if possible.
- If you’re on your own, record yourself on your phone or laptop. Watching yourself back helps you improve both your answers and your body language.
