These are well-known, friendly teams who love what they do – and they’re keen to teach the next generation.
About the Role
You’ll be working on trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery – learning from experienced mechanics while getting paid. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll build real skills and earn your Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Duties
- Help and learn from qualified mechanics
- Fix and service trucks, trailers, and plant equipment
- Use different diagnostic tools
- Keep the workshop safe and tidy
- Pitch in with general workshop tasks
Skills and Experience
- A real interest in mechanics and how things work
- At least a P1 driver’s licence (Class C)
- Team player vibes – good communication and positive attitude
- Willing to travel to Dubbo for TAFE blocks
