Grow your business and help skill your community with Skillset

The SkillForce500 jobs campaign aims to support skills development in our region. Our goal is to engage 500 people into training, education or employment by March 31st 2020. We are focused on helpings our regional communities to grow and prosper, and educate businesses on the importance of training and upskilling to address the nationwide skills shortage.

The campaign has been developed based on studies conducted by the Australian Government who have identified a nationwide skills shortage and acknowledges the supply of workers is not sufficient to meet skills needs. Statistics show that NSW will need another 50,000 skilled construction workers in the next 12 months alone.

Why should businesses join the campaign?

  • Build your team and help your business grow
  • Support skills development to address skills gaps
  • Source the best candidates for recruitment and labour hire
  • Increase employment opportunities in regional NSW
  • Foster the prosperity of regional communities
