About the role

Skillset in conjunction with Warrumbungle Shire Council are seeking applications for their new Plumbing Apprentice. The successful candidate will be based in Coonabarabran and will complete a Certificate III in Plumbing over a four-year period.

This entry-level opportunity is suited to highly-motivated and hard-working individuals with a desire to pursue a career in the plumbing industry.

OUR OFFERING:

• A full time, four year placement that will provide formal on the job training
• You will be allocated a dedicated Skillset Consultant who will support you throughout your Apprenticeship
• At the successful completion of the role you will graduate with a nationally recognised qualification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist tradesmen with to maintain, install and repair plumbing systems
• Follow WHS procedures and workplace processes
• Work one-on-one with Senior Plumbers
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Complete all related theory work and attend classes associated with the Apprenticeship

WE ARE SEEKING INDIVIDUALS WHO:

• Keen interest in the plumbing trade
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a diverse team
• White Card or willing to obtain prior to commencement
• High attention to detail
• Ability to time manage
• Current driver's license preferred but not essential
• The successful candidate will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical prior to commencing
