About the Role
Skillset alongside a premium car sales business is seeking applications for their new Parts Interpreting Apprentice in Orange, NSW. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience whilst learning from industry experts and take on a Certificate III in Automotive – Sales (Part Interpreting) over a 3-year period.
A Parts Interpreter role within the Automotive industry is rapidly changing due to the rise of digital platforms, online parts catalogues, and advanced data analysis, leading to a shift from primarily manual part identification and sourcing to a more technology-driven approach focused on customer interaction, complex part analysis, and efficient supply chain management.
Duties
· Provide high level customer service
· Prepare quotes and invoices
· Utilise computer systems and complete data entry tasks
· Liaise with internal and external departments to ensure client needs are met
· Develop knowledge of parts across a range of brands including luxury vehicles
Skills and Experience
· Genuine interest in the Automotive Industry
· Attention to Detail and Time Management
· Able to learn computer systems quickly
· Able to follow Workplace health and Safety policies
· Self-motivated and willingness to take accountability for own learning
