About the Role
This school-based traineeship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive servicing while completing their studies. Working alongside qualified technicians, trainees will learn essential skills such as vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and customer service. This role is ideal for students passionate about cars and keen to start a career in the automotive industry. Successful candidates will work towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Duties
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance
- Support qualified technicians
- Learn to use tools and equipment
- Attend work 1 day per week during the school term
Skills and Experience
- Commencing Year 11 in 2026
- Passion for cars and mechanical work
- Strong time management and reliability
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
