Skillset are seeking applications for a professional and enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to join our thriving, community driven organisation and be based in our Bathurst, NSW office.

Skillset offers a range of opportunities including recruitment, apprenticeship and traineeship services, skills development, career development support and mentoring programs, as well as alternative education pathways for senior schooling.


Your day to day duties as a Recruitment Consultant will be varied, and you will focus on recruiting for a mix of Blue Collar and White Collar roles, across a broad range of industries, such as Building & Construction, Manufacturing and Business.


  • Supporting the existing recruitment teams
  • Overseeing the end to end recruitment process
  • Client liaison and management
  • Associated compliance paperwork 
  • Reporting to management


  • Experience in recruitment or a strong sales background
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business-to-business sales environment
  • Experience working within the customer service industry
  • Proven account management experience, developing and maintaining long term working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • High level of computer and data entry skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent business acumen and a genuine interest in supporting people
  • Ability to take a consultative approach to clients and candidates
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
