Skillset in collaboration with a well-established business based in Bathurst is seeking a self-motivated and professional Marketing and Events Coordinator to plan, organise and lead business marketing and events efficiently and effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity in a regional location! The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in Events, Hospitality & Tourism in the local Bathurst area. The role offers a diverse and supportive work environment where individuals are encouraged to show initiative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be an experienced, savvy, proactive and passionate Marketing and Events professional, responsible for coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns and creating and implementing events in line with business strategy.

Working closely with the leadership team your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and developing the annual marketing strategy and budget
  • Managing social media accounts, the business website & various online platforms
  • Develop and lead marketing strategies to deliver successful campaigns
  • Planning and executing print media (posters, flyers) and paid marketing strategies
  • Collaboratively developing weekly events
  • Booking touring artists on a monthly & quarterly basis
  • Managing the day to day marketing and events function of the business
  • Timely and accurate responding to all event enquiries
  • Collaboratively managing business sponsorship & partnerships
  • Any other marketing activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of five years' experience, ideally in a similar role and industry
  • Demonstrated experience executing events from less than 20, to upwards of hundreds of people
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment and assisting in the delivery of projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to edit and use Content Management Systems i.e. Word Press, Adobe Creative & SEO
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
  • Proven leadership experience.
