Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of storage solutions for commercial and residential sites, both nationally and internationally.

Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an enthusiastic and forward thinking Logistics Co-ordinator to join the Operations team based in their Orange corporate office in Central West NSW.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This opportunity will allow you to join a progressive, inclusive and well established business with a great work culture.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Manager, the successful candidate will manage warehousing, stocktaking, yard labour, and inbound and outbound freight.

  • Managing the KANBAN system in the factory, in coordination with the Purchasing Officer
  • Identifying and implementing optimum stock level holdings for inventory, including undertaking accurate stocktakes and processing all relevant paperwork
  • Work with Factory Operations Co-ordinator and Project Managers to coordinate the transportation requirements
  • Export logistics co-ordination, including scheduling containers, overseeing loading of containers, export paperwork
  • Receiving, inspecting, and receipting goods into the ERP, both incoming and outgoing, accurately and on time
  • Supporting and contributing to the LEAN implementation initiatives
  • Forklift maintenance scheduling, and oversight of safe work practices of forklift use
  • Managing two direct reports
  • Assisting with other duties as directed by management

WE ARE SEEKING INDIVIDUALS WITH:

  • Extensive experience in a warehousing environment
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Adept ability to meet strict deadlines and meet KPI’s
  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation and ongoing compliance of Quality, Safety and Environmental legislation and standards
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail 
  • Forklift Licence
