For many of the businesses we partner with, the value of the Group Training Organisation model that Skillset deliver is the support that provided for the apprenticeship or traineeship. This includes sourcing and matching candidates, managing employment and administration, coordinating training, providing mentoring and wellbeing support, and helping apprentices navigate their journey through to completion.<\/p>\n
That support extends to workplace safety. The NSW Parliament\u2019s recent 2026 Review of the Work Health and Safety Scheme recognised the \u201cessential role\u201d of GTOs in supporting apprentices, highlighting practices including assessing host workplaces for safety and training suitability, providing WHS training and ongoing support, and giving apprentices another avenue to raise safety concerns.<\/p>\n
For 44 years, Skillset has worked alongside businesses to build skilled workforces through apprenticeships and traineeships, supporting employers and their people every step of the way.<\/p>\n
