Position your camera at eye level so you\u2019re not looking up or down, and frame the shot to include your head and shoulders. Good lighting is also important\u2014avoid sitting in front of a bright window that casts shadows.<\/p>\n

2. Choose the Right Background<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Your background should be clean and uncluttered so the interviewer can focus on you. Avoid distractions like messy shelves or laundry. If your video platform allows virtual backgrounds, choose a plain, professional option and test it before the interview.<\/p>\n
