Our nomination as a state finalist in the NSW Training Awards Industry Collaboration category was recognised at the Western Region Training Awards presentation on Friday night.
The nomination recognises the innovative collaboration between Skillset’s Workforce Team and TAFE NSW in equipping young people with the skills and support required to gain meaningful employment through the Skills4Trade and Pledge250 campaigns.

The partnership maximises the strengths of both organisations – Skillset as the largest employer of young people in Western NSW and TAFE NSW, as the high quality flexible training provider. Together, we work as one, focused on achieving the best possible results for the young people involved with the Skills4Trade program.
Skills4Trade is an exciting pre-employment program for 15 – 25 year olds who have left school. It provides career planning support, industry focused study at TAFE and links with industry via work experience placements.
We are thrilled to see our programs recognised at a state level. The Awards event will take place on the evening of Thursday, 7 September at Sydney Town Hall.
